GET ON BOARD

Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of young girls.  Do you want to make a difference in the community in which you live?  Do you have creative ideas, possess forward thinking and love marketing? Do you want to commit your time and energy towards something rewarding and needed?  If you answered yes to any of those questions The Margaret Byrd Jones Foundation Inc. invites you to get on board.  How can I join the board:  Download the application then submit it along with the other required documents via USPS or email to info@margaretjonesfoundation.org.  An applicant must submit a completed Board Member Application, professional resume and statement of interest.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteering is a rewarding way to get involved and help The Margaret Byrd Jones Foundation Inc. build strong nests in the communities we serve.  Are you a community member interested in volunteering your time, talents and resources to enhance a young girl's life? If so, we need you!  Our services and programs depend upon volunteers, financial contributors and in-kind donations.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A VOLUNTEER

  • Demonstrate commitment to the organization and the programs.

  • Be a role model

  • Encourage and empower participants

  • Assist with fundraising

  • Ensure a safe environment at all programs and service projects

  • Have a positive attitude
